What is Foto For Free?

FotoForFree is a totally free photography website where all photos can be used for personal use. This means our photos can be used for school projects, your own websites or even brochures.

The only restriction is that you can not sell or re-distribute photos on another photo website.

Why did we start Foto For Free?

There are a lot of photo websites claiming to be totally free but the moment you look further you are hit with pricing. There is no catch with FotoForFree. We are free. We will always be free and we have no intention of being anything other than free. There is no false advertising here.

Who owns the photography uploaded to this website?

You do. However, while it is on our website, you must agree to making your photo free for everybody who wants to use it.

If you are the owner of a photo which has been uploaded then you can remove that photo at any time. If you find a photo on our website which you cant remove but would like us to look into it (because they are not the original owner) then simply email us at info@fotoforfree.com.au and we may remove it for you.

Wont I lose money if I give my photos away for free?

Digital Cameras are very cheap these days and its no surprise to find people with thousands of photos. What determines a good photo is usually the quality of the shot and while some have the quality, others are simply not good enough to be sold. Instead of those photos gathering dust, you can upload them to us and share them with other people online.

Foto For Free can also be used if you want to make a name for yourself. By uploading good photography, people will be able to recognise your work.
